Consultant Gastroenterologist & General Physician

Provide a specialist Gastroenterology/Hepatology in patient and consult service and an acute General Medical in patient service

Provide both diagnostice and therapeutic endoscopy services on both Wexford General Hospital and Ely Hospital sites

Provide gastroenterology/hepatology outpatient clinics

Provide leadership and governanace in the management of medical day ward including drug infusions, venesections, ambulatory care facilities etc

Support the aNP's and Clinical Nurse Specialists in Gastroenterology and Hepatology

Participate in the General Medical on call service (currently 1:10)

Participate in Endoscopy User Group and relevant committees

Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to advance patient care and promote evidence based decision making
