We have an opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Coordinator. The successful candidate should be prepared to help provide world-class products and service to a diverse customer base, including many leading medical device manufacturers.

Successful candidates will have a desire and ability to take our technology to the next level. Continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing is a way of life at Zeus. You must possess the ability to work independently; and the desire to learn a variety of skills. The ability to communicate clearly is imperative.

Job Duties and Skills required:

  • Collaborate with all Production and Quality personnel to develop level I and II Pareto's of scrap and defect information.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams to develop root cause determination using Man, Method, Machine, and Material analysis
  • Conduct value stream mapping exercises to identify process waste. Work with Plant management to simplify and combine processes
  • Document current and ideal practices using A3 format
  • Implement post completion audits to assure compliance of improvements

Applicants must possess:

  • Degree in Engineering, Science or another relevant discipline
  • An aptitude for continuous improvement
  • 1-3 years of experience in leading shop floor continuous improvement activities
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

The ideal candidate will have formal training in Lean Manufacturing concepts
