We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic professional to join our Corporate Affairs team. The Corporate Affairs Coordinator will be involved in the inception, development and execution of numerous campaigns and events, both internal and external, for Lidl Ireland & Northern Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in working within a fast-moving and dynamic business.
What you'll do
- Play an active role in the development and execution of consumer, corporate and CSR campaigns and events for Lidl Ireland & Northern Ireland
- Drafting, editing and issuing press materials and a wide range of written and digital communications
- Liaising with key departments across the business; CSR, Property, Purchasing and Sponsorship to identify appropriate news angles with a view to generating positive press coverage for the business
- Proactive engagement with key contacts in the media, employees, and other external stakeholders
- Conduct campaign reviews, analytics and demonstrate strong ROI per campaign
- Analysis of data and managing reports for Lidl Ireland & Northern Ireland and Lidl International
- Assisting the wider team with maintenance of purchase orders, invoices, vendors, budgets, negotiations, and additional ad hoc administration requests
- Developing and maintaining an up-to-date contact database across all relevant media sectors
What you'll need
- Third-level degree is essential, ideally in communications, public relations or marketing
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
- People-person with a keen interest in the news and current affairs
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task
- Ability to plan and co-ordinate resources and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for storytelling and ability to land key messages with different stakeholders
- Flexible with the ability to work under pressure– some weekend and evening work required
- Full driving licence is essential
What you'll receive

- €36,500 rising to €49,500 after 3 years
- 20 days holidays per annum rising to 25 days after 2 years
