A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following posts and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-
Corporate Solicitor
37 hours per week
Scale P06, SCP 42-45, £51,802 - £54,970.75.
Location: The location of this post will be confirmed upon appointment and flexibility to be based across the Borough will be required.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
This role sits within the new Business Support division within the newly created Corporate & Support Services Directorate. Reporting to the Legal & Democratic Services Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of and management of an efficient and effective legal services function to ensure the Council remains compliant with legislation.
You will manage the Legal Services team to ensure high quality professional legal service standards and performance targets are met and maintained.
You will attend Council and other committee meetings as necessary.
