A number of permanent vacancies currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following posts and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-
Corporate & Support Services Officer (Level 7) x4
37 hours per week
Scale PO2, SCP 31-34 Currently £40,476 - £43,693.
Location: The location of this post will be confirmed upon appointment and flexibility to be based across the Borough will be required.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
This role sits within the newly created Corporate & Support Services Directorate, and you will be working in one of the three functional areas. (Citizen focus, Business support or Finance)
You will be responsible for collaborating with our delivery teams and stakeholders to support delivery of the Council’s corporate functions and processes and supporting adherence to our policy and legislative duties. You will be responsible for ensuring organisation wide compliance across a range of functions related to Councils statutory functions as appropriate.
Your role will include reviewing and improving systems, processes and procedures, ensuring processes are followed and deadlines are met. It will include processing information and data, report writing, drafting correspondence for managers, resolving issues and managing relationships. You may be attending events, and meeting with stakeholders and partners from across local government and beyond to support the achievement of Council priorities. Although initially allocated to one of the three functional areas the post holder will be expected to be flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs and requirements of the organisation and duties and responsibilities may vary without changing the purpose of the job or level of responsibility.
In the current job structure, you will be placed in Citizen Focus and you will be working on one of the following:
· Complaints
· Policy & Performance
· Programmes/Projects
