Your Role: 

The Cost Management & Workforce Planning Analyst will support the Senior Business Manager in designing, implementing, and managing processes and systems to optimize resource planning and cost management across Operations. This role involves data analysis, forecasting, and collaboration with various business functions to drive efficiency and support transformation initiatives. You will be a self-starter, capable of working on your own initiative, and possess very strong analytical skillsets and enjoy working with senior stakeholders across Operations, Finance and HR. You will also enjoy fostering relationships through the organisation as you represent the Operations function.

Your Responsibilities 

• Assist in designing, implementing, and managing a unified process/system for reporting and measuring Operations resources against cost and target operating models.
• Develop and maintain resource data to aid accurate demand planning
• Collaborate with colleagues across Operations and key business functions to facilitate the adherence to budget.
• Identify and execute opportunities to optimize headcount and resourcing across Operations.
• Act as a point of contact for Group Operations stakeholders to collate data related to recruitment and attrition for submission to various fora.
• Collaborate with the Senior Manager in the COO office to ensure cost and headcount commitments are met within Operations.
• Analysis of financial data on an ongoing basis to monitor budget adherence and identify opportunities to optimise costs across the Group Operations function.
• Support the Strategic Planning Process to ensure accurate budgets and forecasts are created, while seeking opportunities to optimise costs. This includes gathering and analyzing data, providing insights, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Work closely with the Senior Business Manager as part of the SPP, SWP and Career Pathway processes to ensure clear and transparent budget and resourcing plans are in place and shared with relevant stakeholders

Requirements: 

• Data analytics, analysing and mining information to extract tangible insights
• Skilled at Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (such as running pivot tables and vlookups)
• Strong problem solving capabilities
• Ability to build and maintain working relationships
• Highly motivated and ability to work on own initiative

This is a permanent position based in PTSB's St.Stephens Green Dublin (Hybrid option available within the Republic Of Ireland Only)
