About the Role
McKeevers Chemists is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused Counter Sales Assistant to join our team in Kircubbin on a Saturday basis.
As the first point of contact for our customers, you will provide outstanding customer service while supporting the day-to-day running of the shop. You'll help customers find the products they need, maintain attractive shop displays, replenish stock, and work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure a welcoming and efficient shopping experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and is looking for a rewarding weekend position.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to every customer.
- Assist customers with product enquiries and purchases.
- Operate the till and process transactions accurately.
- Replenish stock and ensure shelves are fully stocked and well presented.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming shop environment.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages where appropriate.
- Assist with merchandising and promotional displays.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work confidently as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
- Full training and ongoing support.
- A friendly, supportive team environment.
