Counter Sales Assistant

About the Role McKeevers Chemists is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused Counter Sales Assistant to join our team in Rostrevor on a part-time basis. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will provide outstanding customer service while supporting the day-to-day running of the shop. You'll help customers find the products they need, maintain attractive shop displays, replenish stock, and work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure a welcoming and efficient shopping experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and is looking for a rewarding position in a busy pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to every customer.
• Assist customers with product enquiries and purchases.
• Operate the till and process transactions accurately.
• Replenish stock and ensure shelves are fully stocked and well presented.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming shop environment.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages where appropriate.
• Assist with merchandising and promotional displays.
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
