Counter Sales Assistant

 Job Roles

·        Operating tills and handling sale transactions accurately

·        Accept prescriptions for filling, gathering and processing necessary information.

·        To greet, serve and offer correct advice to customers in a polite and friendly manner,

·        To learn about and inform customers on all health and associated products including over the counter medication, minor ailments and services offered by the Pharmacy.

·        To actively sell products and meet targets using appropriate selling techniques and merchandising.

·        To maintain displays and re-stock shelves when necessary

·        To develop good practice of stock control to include stock rotation.

·        Ordering stock, unpacking deliveries and checking dispatch notes, reporting shorts

·        Dealing with customer complaints effectively

·        To communicate with and work effectively alongside other staff members

·        To handle telephone enquiries and give advice while referring callers o the pharmacist when necessary.

·        Keeping the shop and staff areas clean and tidy

·        Maintaining a safe work environment

·        Other duties as required
