Counter Sales/warehouse With Driving Duties

 
JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for processing orders, ensuring these are ready for despatch and carrying out deliveries in a safe, efficient and timely manner.

KEY TASKS:

Processing telephone orders and serving customers.

Checking in deliveries, putting stock away in the correct location, loading delivery vehicles and carrying out deliveries.

Provide quotes to customers over telephone or in person.

Receive & putaway stock.

Prepare orders for despatch.

Invoices.

Process cash payments from customers.

Forklift duties as required (training will be provided if necessary).

Support the team during busy period’s, holidays, sickness etc by undertaking general administration duties.

Any other duties conducive to the effective operation of the post which the Company deem to be within the post holder’s competence. Operational requirements of the business may dictate that overtime may be required.
