Covid Scientist

Due to the on-going COVID-19 crisis, Randox Teoranta are seeking applications from candidates to join our testing labs based in Dungloe, County Donegal.

These positions would be trained in one of the key areas of our COVID Labs including Extraction and PCR. Additionally, you will get the opportunity to work on R&D projects within Randox Teoranta. Full training is provided so it not essential to have previous experience in any of these areas. 

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on lab experience while contributing to the fight against COVID-19.

As the labs are expected to be busy, we need candidates who can commit to working a rota that could include working blocks of day shifts and nights. (4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off). Please confirm your flexibility to work a shift pattern like this on your covering letter or CV.

The Candidate:

Essential:

• Have graduated in a Science related subject
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work a shift pattern
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent time management
• Ability to interpret and analyse data

Desirable:
• Excellent Pipetting skills
