About the role

We are recruiting for a Creative Manager on a 12-month fixed term basis to join the Marketing team based in Naas, Ireland.

This is a dynamic and varied role where you will be working on a number of key brand projects where you can add value and bring your creative style to life!

The successful candidate will align with the Global Creative Director to brief central COE, and partner in the management of central design staff or external partners to ensure they are meeting a design standard and turned around within an agreed SLA

What will I be doing?

  • Translate business strategies into design concepts that are aligned to global Kerry brand guidelines, create visual appeal, and drive positive impact
  • Oversee the implementation of the Kerry brand design system throughout all regional touchpoints; ensuring alignment to brand guidelines, and consistency in delivery across mediums/channels
  • Align with the broader regional marketing function, and marketing communications teams to conceptualize and brainstorm creative platforms that create compelling visual appeal and drive to results
  • Be the regional touchpoint and leader accountable for understanding brand standards; enforce those standards across marketing, advertising, and sales touchpoints
  • Communicate ideas, how that idea comes to life, and expectations for delivery, across teams and throughout the organization; become an expert at translating ideas to brief for activation from central creative Center of Excellence
  • Understand and deliver design concepts and finished work across a wide range of mediums including digital, print, environmental, video, photography, tradeshows, events, etc
  • Must be able to manage your time and projects efficiently, be comfortable with shifting priorities and project scopes; and be able and willing to take on execution when appropriate, and agreed with Global Creative Programs Director
  • Pivot from creative management responsibilities to design production as appropriate

What do I need to be successful?

In Kerry we understand that people have very different career trajectories and experiences. In order to be successful in this role we would be looking for the right competencies and aptitudes as well as your proven track record of success in a similar role and environment.

These include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/advertising, graphic design, creative production or similar field
  • Experience working in graphic design, art direction and project management with a graphic design firm, advertising agency, in-house corporate graphics/creative department
  • Experience in video concepting and execution, strong Digital Designer
  • Experience in print production and file prep
  • Strong Adobe Suite Skills (Illustrator & Photoshop)
  • Strong typography, layout, and photography skills
  • Experience with adhering to and managing brand standards
  • Strategic thinking ability with balanced analytical and creative approach
  • Ability to clearly and articulately communicate complex topics in simple, easy to understand ways
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with strong conceptual skills and creativity
  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to work tactfully and respectfully with a wide variety of stakeholders, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and results
  • Demonstrated aptitude for ongoing learning and application of newly acquired knowledge
  • Personality to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, including the ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure. Will be required to perform outside comfort zone and navigate through organizational and operational ambiguity as the creative function at Kerry evolves
