We know our people are our greatest asset and our success is down to the commitment and dedication of our team.We are seeking a creative, detail orientated, highly motivated, and innovative Creative Production Designer to join our Creative Production Team. The Creative Production Designer will have a key responsibility for our weekly press design creation and production,while also working on multiple production-related tasks and projects across a variety of channels. We are looking for someone who can work on multiple projects at the same time to strict deadlines in a fast-paced reactive retail environment. The Creative Production Designer will work closely with key production stakeholders and must be able tocommunicate and collaborate in a positive and professional manner with all parties internally & externally.

What you'll do

  • Design and artwork weekly leaflet creative for IE and NI from brief through concept tohe finished product and all intermediate stages
  • Work on multiple projects & leaflets at the same time, making sure all deadlines aremet at every stage.
  • Proofing of design material prior to advancing to next stage.
  • Photo retouching and management of design assets.
  • Work on ad-hoc production projects across our multiple channels as assigned by the Design Manager.
  • Working closely and proactively with internal departments to make sure there is alignment on all design requirements for the weekly leaflet and ad-hoc design tasks as required.
  • Liaising with all internal stakeholders to ensure timely sign-off and transfer of all information required to create design assets as requested.
  • Manage your daily workflow and check in regularly with the Design Manager to ensure all deadlines are being met.
  • Involvement in new draft designs and ideas in co-ordination with the Design Manager and Senior Creative Brand Manager.
  • Take ownership for your projects so that all output is consistent and creatively aligned with the Lidl Brand.

What you'll need

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in design / creative print production is preferable.
  • Proficient in Adobe Create Suite – especially in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Excellent attention to detail so all work is consistent and adheres to all brand guidelines.
  • Must be creative and able to demonstrate this with a sample selection of relevant examples.
  • Able to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to use initiative to get the answers to solve any creative questions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be confident to present your creative work when needed.
  • Proven ability to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines and multi-task working to strict deadlines. 
  • Experience in print publishing production projects is desirable but not essential.
