SITE: W5 Business Unit, Odyssey Trust
LOCATION: Queen’s Quay, Belfast, BT3 9QQ
REPORTING TO: Creative Lead
HOURS: 37.5 hours per week (flexibility is required)
TERMS: Fixed Term Contract for 6 months, with the potential to become permanent

SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential Criteria

• Demonstrable experience in a practical creative or live delivery environment such as exhibitions, events, performance, themed attractions or visitor experiences.
• Strong hands‑on skills in installation, de‑installation or live event support.
• Working knowledge of audio‑visual or technical systems in an operational or support capacity.
• Practical experience with basic set build, scenic elements or prop handling.
• Comfortable with and able to undertake manual handling and physical work.
• Ability to work calmly, safely and reliably under pressure, particularly in live or public‑facing environments.
• Willingness to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends
• A flexible, proactive approach with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience working in events, theatres, museums, science centres or visitor attractions.
• Experience supporting live events, performances or participatory programmes.
• An interest in creative production, exhibitions or public engagement.
• Basic knowledge of tools, painting, or construction techniques.
• Creative flair and attention to detail.

Salary
£25,500
