Credit Control Assistant

Boles Hire Ltd are seeking to hire a Credit Control Assistant to support our ever expanding and busy Accounts/Hire Department.


Skills Required:

  • Strong Credit Control background
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Good attention to detail
  • Key Administrative duties
  • Assisting in the Credit Control of a large number of accounts
  • Collection of debts and payments in a timely fashion
  • Working closely with Sales & Customer Service departments
  • Building good client relationships to ensure prompt payment of invoices
  • Resolving customer queries
  • Posting and allocating daily receipts to the accounting system·
  • Monitoring assigned accounts to ensure customers are operating within the agreed payment terms
  • Account reconciliations
  • Completion of all tasks required for a timely month end close
  • Other Ad hoc Duties as required


To be considered for this position, applicants will meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years in Credit Control or similar
  • An accountancy related qualification is essential
  • Strong IT skills, excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A flexible approach to work
  • Ability to bring a task to completion

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working in hire environment
