Customer Engagement Lead

Permanent contract, Cork.

Job Summary

This roles requires a desire to implement new tools and methods for events and communications, in accordance with recent industry and social trends, while adhering to Stryker branding and corporate guidelines, will be a success factor.

Executes brand strategies and identifies new opportunities for assigned products, product lines, lines of business, or on a company-wide campaign basis. Responsible for brand-level development including market analysis, product acquisitions, and brand management. Manages marketing materials to establish product branding and messaging. Develops and implements product education, publication and other promotional activities to communicate product positioning and lifecycle development of products to customers. Applies consumer insight and market research to determine new marketing and product opportunities. May work in partnership with cross-functional teams in linking the brand to efforts by marketing, product marketing, marketing communications or other departments or units within the organization.

What you will do

  • Leads the execution of the marketing events and communications elements of the annual marketing plan
  • Act as lead point of contact for all event operations associated with AMagine
  • Understand and apply marketing framework and links customer acquisition and retention strategies to event and communication strategies
  • Create marketing communication strategies to understand, develop, and enhance the relationship between the 1A customer and AMagine
  • Develop persuasive, benefit-driven messaging to different 1A customer groups in alignment with their needs
  • Articulate desired communications outcomes consistent with marketing strategy to the leadership team
  • Write or edit publishing materials, scripts or other communication media
  • Follow Stryker branding guidelines
  • Exhibit creativity in how to tell a story/ get key messages across to our 1A customers
  • Assess alternative delivery mechanisms for internal communications
  • Assist in the development of internal communication materials
  • Establish short-range and long-range improvement goals for customer engagement activities – events / communications
  • Experiment with new and innovative concepts and event principles to maximize impact for key focus events
  • Help to develop and maintain events calendar and budget.
  • Ensuring all OKR’s are monitored effectively and achieved. Including year-end stats

Additional Details Event Management;

  • Planning and executing events from conception to completion.
  • Overseeing all logistical aspects, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and equipment.
  • Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness in event planning.
  • Coordinating with vendors, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
  • Handling event registrations, attendee management, and on-site coordination.
  • Providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members on event best practices.
  • Anticipating and addressing potential challenges or issues that may arise during events or in communication campaigns.
  • Implementing contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure smooth event execution.
  • Experiment with new and innovative concepts and event principles to maximize impact for key focus events

Additional Details Strategic Communication:

  • Developing and implementing communication strategies to promote events and engage target audiences.
  • Creating compelling content for various communication channels, including email newsletters and promotional materials.
  • Maintaining consistent brand messaging across all communication platforms.
  • Monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of communication efforts, making adjustments as needed.

Additional Details Continuous Improvement:

  • Seeking feedback from stakeholders and attendees to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes accordingly.
  • Evaluating the success of events and communication initiatives through metrics and analytics, and using insights to refine strategies for future endeavors.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years of work experience required
  • 2+ years medical device or corporate marketing experience preferred
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
  • Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
  • Demonstrated high level proficiency and creativity in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to implement further tools, such as content creation software, AI based software or specific event tools would be beneficial
