Job Description

The Customer Remediation department plays a vital role in upholding the bank’s commitment to fairness, transparency, and trust. By swiftly addressing errors, service failures, or regulatory breaches, the team ensures that affected customers are treated with integrity and restored to the position they should have been in.Beyond resolving individual issues, Customer Remediation drives systemic improvements by identifying root causes and influencing long-term change across the organisation.Our work not only protects the bank’s reputation and regulatory standing but also reinforces customer confidence—demonstrating that the bank is accountable, responsive, and genuinely committed to doing the right thing.

Responsibilities

  • Documentation Support: Assist in the preparation, formatting, and quality review of remediation documentation, including Tier Approval Packs, Policy Extensions, and Charity Payment submissions.
  • Tracker Maintenance: Maintain and update central trackers for open errors, approvals, and policy deadlines. Ensure data accuracy and timely updates.
  • Meeting Coordination: Support the scheduling and documentation of triage meetings and taskforce calls. Prepare agendas, take minutes, and track follow-up actions.
  • SharePoint & Repository Management: Upload and organise documents in SharePoint repositories. Ensure all required evidence is stored and accessible for audit purposes.
  • Reporting Assistance: Support the generation of weekly and monthly reports by collating data and preparing summaries for review by the Remediation Project Manager.
  • Quality Checks: Perform basic quality assurance checks on documentation and trackers to ensure completeness and consistency.
  • Team Support: Provide general administrative support to the wider remediation team, including onboarding support, template management, and ad hoc tasks.

Basic qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Mgt, Economics, Commerce or a similar field of study with a target completion date of May 2027/2028
  • Understanding of financial and payments market
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail 
  • Ability to start summer internship on 2 Jun 2026

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong excel & powerpoint
  • Interest in compliance, risk & regulations

Location: Arklow.

  • The role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

Contract Type:

  • 12 week fixed term contract
