Customer Service Advisor
About the role:
Our energy division is now welcoming applications from experienced customer service professionals seeking a new opportunity in a thriving department. Working as part of a busy Customer Service team, you will be the first point of contact for all inbound customer related queries via phone and email. This role will require someone with excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy and care for customers as needed. You will also work alongside various departments such as sales, complaints, collections, billing to address customer queries in a timely manor.
Main areas of responsibilities:
- Provide a high level of customer service to new and existing customers
- Adhere to GDPR and compliance guidelines at all times
- Dealing with a high level of incoming customer calls in a polite and professional manner
- Liaise with relevant departments in order to resolve queries
- Ensure customer accounts are maintained and kept up to date
- Responding to and sending emails
- Processing Customer Payments
- Updating Customers accounts/ Details
- Adhoc duties as required
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience working in a customer service role, ideally in a call centre or office. This person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy environment, working towards individual and team SLA’s. This role will require someone with excellent communication skills, with the ability to show empathy and compassion to customers as needed. They should be able to multi-task, while maintaining excellent attention to detail and accuracy in their work. Proficient IT skills will also be essential for this role.
