Customer Service Associate
Avantor provides a broad variety of mission-critical products and services for major pharmaceutical customers and works collaboratively with our clients to provide resource and deliver core scientific activities.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service associate to join our business in Ireland.
The successful candidate will be the driving force behind delivering excellent customer service and internal account management to our key customers
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 and 08:30-17:00 Hybrid 2 days per week in the office
KEY TASKS –MAJOR JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processing orders, managing deliveries (including creating, viewing, displaying and listing sales orders, order confirmations) for various customers
- Responsible for internal account management for our key customers
- Offer one-time resolution on queries to customers
- Ensure customers receive all necessary regulatory certification
- Advising customers of delivery dates and status of orders
- Capable of resolving complex customer issues such as pricing and margin blocks
- Effectively handles customer complaints and reaches timely resolution
- Works alongside finance in resolving invoice queries for customers
- Co-ordinate with Finance re pricing, account set up and charges
- Updating and validating all relevant customer information on our CRM
- Monitors open orders, blanket order, forecasts and virtual stock for customers
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Leaving Certificate (or equivalent)
- Experience in Customer Relationship role, displaying excellent customer focus
- The desire to provide consistently high levels of customer service, feeling comfortable with autonomously handling complex queries and questions
- Demonstrable experience building strong relationships with key customer contacts & key internal stakeholders
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in line with KPI’s
- IT Literate, example with MS Office applications
- Previous SAP knowledge a distinct advantage
- Prior experience within the Life Sciences industry a distinct advantage (but not essential)
- Excellent time management & telephone etiquette capabilities
- Highly professional written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive –can work with minimal supervision
- Comfortable with a fast paced and dynamic working environment
