Customer Service Executive

Basic Role Summary:

This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within the Animal Health Ireland. We are looking for individuals who will support and drive Chanelle Pharma’s vision to be the most valued global provider of high-quality, competitively priced pharmaceutical products and to provide excellent services and support to our customers.

In this role, you will report into the Customer Service Manager.

Location: Based onsite at our offices in Ballinasloe, Co Galway. Role is eligible for Hybrid working after the completion of probationary period.

As our Customer Service Executive, your key responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Take incoming orders and queries from customers and Area Sales Managers.

  • Responsible for Area Sales Managers assigned to you.

  • Process any emailed orders.

  • Responsible for Petworld orders and Tilledium orders and their queries.

  • Responsible for processing cash sales for Pet, Vet, and internal cash sales and logging same.

  • Responsible for processing and printing credit notes for Vet/Pet.

  • Responsible for processing rebates when required.

  • Promote seasonal products and products with short expiry dates.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Min 1-2 years experience working in Customer Service role essential.

  • 3rd Level qualification preferred

  • MS Office certification would be a benefit.

  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills

  • Organisational skills, personal efficiency, time management skills, and the ability to prioritise competing demands.

  • Ability to liaise with customers and Area Sales Managers in a polite and professional manner.

  • Ability to follow procedures and work practices and adapt to change.

  • Effective time management and commitment to getting it right first time.

  • Motivated and responsible, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

  • Calm under pressure and works well with customers.

  • Strong work ethic and belief that quality is everyone’s responsibility.
