Cybersecurity Apprentice

First Year Apprentice Vacancy

Works closely with the Cybersecurity Analysts to:

• Configure and analyze security tools and software

• Contribute to and maintain security standards and create/maintain policies and procedures.

• Review security logs daily to identify, report and remediate vulnerabilities

• Assist in coordinating annual compliance activities such as security policy reviews and penetration tests.

• Assist in coordinating and following up on employee security awareness training

• Support IT security, compliance, and risk management by leveraging tools such as Intune (device control), Purview (data governance and protection), and cybersecurity platforms (e.g. vulnerability monitoring) to ensure secure, policy compliant use of technology.

• Work with other key IT functions including Infrastructure and Service Desk.
