Cycle Counter

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the cycle counter will work closely with departments including Finance, Production Control and Quality to ensure that stock levels of accurately accounted for both in terms of quantities and value.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitoring and controlling inventory practices to ensure accuracy maintained at all times
• Maintaining product identification and location programs
• Researching inventory discrepancies and resolving potential issues with Production Control
• Counting physical inventory routinely
• Performing audits and writing results up for discussion and investigation with Production Control

Experience, Skills and Attributes

• Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
• Proven experience in a demanding admin role preferably from within manufacturing industry
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility and ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities
• Ability to learn quickly, use your initiative and work as part of a team
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail is essential for success in this role
• A logical and methodical approach to problem solving along with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner to meet targets
• Self-motivation and initiative
• IT literacy and experience of MRP style system
