This role is being offered on a 23-month contract basis.

About our Graduate Programme

Graduate Training and Development forms part of our overall programme and has been designed to help you develop the necessary behaviours to grow and progress throughout the programme and beyond. We offer agility across different areas and different roles, providing you with plenty of opportunities to build your network across the organisation.

Our Data & Analytics Team

Data & Analytics powers the bank of the future. We continue to invest in AIB’s Data & Analytics innovation and development – so it’s a great time to join and help grow this function, as we build a data driven bank with best-in-class capabilities.

At the core of our operations, we are responsible for inbound data, managing the data warehouse, providing business intelligence and data visualisation with rigorous data management practices to support many and varied decisions and activities across the organisation.



We will challenge you with real business problems using the best technologies to deliver innovative solutions across many aspects of Data & Analytics such as:

  • Data Engineering
  • Data Architecture
  • Data Analytics
  • Data Quality & Governance
  • Data Delivery & Agile Development


We’ll encourage you to join and engage with our Employee Resource Groups, self-formed groups of employee volunteers who come together because they are interested in a particular topic, usually related to diversity and inclusion. These groups, such as Life & Family Network, Pride+ Network, Roots Network and Abilities Network, are fully supported by AIB at an Enterprise level.

We also offer great opportunities for progression and engagement with management, along with induction events, a dedicated wellbeing & benefits programme and regular social events.

About Rotations

As part of the Data & Analytics graduate programme, we put an emphasis on rotational opportunities and what can be gained. Each graduate will rotate in areas of the business to give them experience in roles such as Data Engineering, Data Analysing, Agile delivery and Analysis (Regulatory, Data Quality and Governance).

What you’ll need:

  • An expected minimum 2.1 Honours Degree (or equivalent for universities outside of Ireland) is a prerequisite for those joining the AIB graduate programme. 
  • Candidates must be fully authorised to work in Ireland or hold a valid work permit for the full duration of the 23-month contract (September 2024 – August 2026).

Confirmation of these will be sought if successful for the role.
