Location/Office Policy: Central Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18 / Hybrid working (3 days per week in office)

What is the Role:

The Financial Crime Data, MI & Reporting team is responsible for supporting the Financial crime function by analysing operations and risk management system data to develop appropriate and dynamic reports and dashboards to support risk controls and KPIs.

The role needs to deliver intelligent, innovative, and insightful MI and dashboards to inform decisions, realise measurable business benefit and meet regulatory deadlines and requirements. 

Key accountabilities:

As part of the Financial crime analytics team, you will: 

  • Utilise advanced data analysis techniques to analyse complex data sets to detect patterns, trends, and anomalies. 
  • Prepare detailed reports based on findings from data analysis. 
  • Develop and maintain advanced data models and algorithms to support various business functions. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations and strategic insights. 
  • Design and implement data visualisations and dashboards to communicate key findings to senior management.

What you Will Bring

  • 3+ years data analyst experience 

  • Experience producing repeatable MI or reporting to defined standards and deadlines 

  • Proven experience in data analysis preferably in the financial services sector using tools and software such as SQL, Python and Excel 

  • Strong proficiency in designing and implementing PowerBI data visualisations and dashboards for communicating key findings.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail 

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex findings clearly.

  • Demonstrates a learning mindset and openness to feedback
