As a Senior Associate within our Cybersecurity Data Protection team, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: 

  • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of Data Protection Programmes for clients across various sectors. 

  • Oversee numerous engagements, primarily focused on Data Privacy Managed Services. 

  • Conduct data protection assessments against industry-leading frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27701, etc.) to identify risks and suggest appropriate remediation measures for our clients. 

  • Collaborate effectively with clients to understand their business requirements, ensuring all engagements are delivered to the highest quality and professional standards. 

  • Stay updated on emerging data protection technologies, privacy regulations, and industry trends, integrating this knowledge into solution design and strategic recommendations. 

  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise on data protection regulations to diverse clients across multiple sectors. 

Your profile: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering data protection and privacy projects. 

  • Proven track record of successfully executing complex projects within consulting or professional services environments. 

  • In-depth understanding of data protection principles and privacy domains (such as personal data processing, data subject rights, encryption, and PIAs). 

  • Familiarity with privacy management tools such as OneTrust, TrustArc, or similar platforms is advantageous. 

  • Experience with data subjects’ segmentation and privacy impact assessments would be beneficial. 

  • Strong knowledge of data protection laws, frameworks, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA). 

  • Knowledge and/or experience utilising Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance data protection services is advantageous. 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex regulatory concepts for non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic and diverse team environment. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adhere to deadlines.
