· The role of Data Quality and Delivery manager is responsible for continually improving the quality of data quality measurement and reporting within AIB.
· The role requires an experienced data quality leader with a proven track record in the development and delivery of robust data quality frameworks.
What is the Role:
The Data Management and Governance team are accountable for developing and embedding data quality, management and privacy standards for AIB Group. The Data Quality and Delivery manger will lead data quality and measurement reporting deliverables.
Key accountabilities;
- Oversee the implementation of data governance tools and technologies to support data lineage, metadata management, and data quality monitoring.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on data governance principles and practices, and deliver training sessions to educate stakeholders on data governance concepts and requirements.
- Drive automation of data quality metrics and reporting which meets business needs and industry best practice.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate inputs to reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to incorporate data quality considerations into the data collection lifecycle, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, consistency and timeliness.
What you Will Bring ;
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data quality management, preferably with banking experience
- Proven track record of successfully developing and delivering innovative data quality solutions, including planning and execution, resource management, and risk mitigation
- Knowledge of collection and storage of data, including an understanding of data related software and tools.
- Strong understanding of data quality principles and methodologies
- Knowledge of modern data architectures and cloud technology
- Basic understanding of data visualisation tool
- Understanding of key data regulation, including Data Protection, BCBS239 and EGIM
- Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
