The Data Remediation team forms part of the Chief Data Office area within Data and Analytics in Technology at AIB. The team supports the data remediation process on behalf of business stakeholders within a complex IT and data infrastructure. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of the team’s ability to deliver data analysis, sampling, and remediation to further enhance the quality of the data to support the Organisation's business processes and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Operate within set guidelines and follow established processes to sample, analyse, interpret, and process information from various sources, recording results appropriately.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver defined business targets.
  • Collaborate with other colleagues on the team and across the Data Quality teams to ensure data quality items are sampled and investigated in a timely fashion.
  • Develop business and technical knowledge and experience to support one’s own development as well as the team.
  • Operate with large datasets and provide data analysis when required.

What you will bring:

  • Proven ability to quickly adapt to new environments and to gain an understanding of new processes, applications and procedures.
  • Strong analytical & organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • For this role, there is a preference for candidates experienced in Excel and with an interest in data analysis.
  • Experience with banking customer and credit systems is an advantage.
