What we offer
As part of the Dell Financial Services Graduate Program the successful candidate will complete a series of rotations across the business and work on cross functional project teams. This will give the successful candidates a broad scope of experience over a 2 year period which will allow them to develop, thrive, and realise their full potential in a fast paced, ever evolving environment.
We are looking for a driven self-starter. We will give you all the tools required to be a success in your role and it will be you who will scope, design, and build your role, under the guidance and direction of your Line Manager. You will be comfortable with change and will thrive working in an environment where you have to think on your feet and meet challenging targets quickly and effectively.
The Data Science team is responsible for the development, validation and implementation of models used by the bank. This includes credit and loss models and their components, and the scope will expand into other business areas.
During your time with the team you will be:
- Part of data science projects in the areas of credit risk application models, regulatory provision models, including fraud or treasury projects
- Assist in the development of credit scoring models
- Assist in the development of machine learning models to predict customer behavior in different functions across Dell Bank
- Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, a related quantitative discipline
- Graduated in last 12 months
- Experience with statistical modelling and analytical techniques & working with R
- Experience with data, including querying, aggregation, analysis, and visualization is a benefit
