Purpose-led work you’ll be part of
As a Deals, Financial Due Diligence and Transaction Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing complex transactions, providing strategic advice, and ensuring the successful execution of deals.
This position requires a deep understanding of the deals transaction lifecycle, effective leadership skills, and the ability to nurture, build and maintain trusted and impactful client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Transaction Services Engagements: Oversee and manage the entire due diligence process, including analysis of financial forecasts, historical earnings, assets and liabilities of target companies.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to achieve their strategic objectives. Ability to react and respond to short notice / dynamic client requirements.
Strategic Advisory: Provide strategic advice to clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other transactions, ensuring alignment with their business goals.
People Leadership: Guide, , mentor, and nurture a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Work collaboratively with a diverse team to deliver multiple priorities and projects
Market Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and success of the Deals practice.
Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies, managing risks associated with transactions.
Financial Performance: Monitor and manage the financial performance of engagements, ensuring profitability and efficient resource utilisation.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of experience in transaction services, corporate finance, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading and managing complex transactions.
Qualification: Certified Chartered Accountant with proven and demonstrable client-facing experience within M&A financial due diligence.
Skills:
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills and experience analysing financial information focusing on quality of earnings and assets, cash flows and other key client deal issues.
Experienced in guiding and mentoring teams internally and externally.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
Ability to nurture, build, and maintain trusted and meaningful client relationships.
Strategic and critical thinking skills.
Ability to effectively drive multiple priorities requiring prompt decision making
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
