The Person

If you are an experienced C Driver, have great work ethic and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer care at all times, then EZ Living Furniture is looking for you. The successful candidate will provide an efficient home delivery service and will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery to customers’ homes. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, along with a flexible approach, to ensure that customers’ expectations are met and surpassed. The position is based in Belfast but serves adjoining counties as well. We will provide training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn. Furniture Delivery & Installer (Category C Licence)

• Full Category C driving licence / Category B driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Ability to unload and deliver furniture safely.
• Experience or skill to assembling furniture in customers' homes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience on every delivery.
• Review delivery orders before departure.
• Safely unload furniture at customers' homes.
• Assemble furniture to the required standard.
• Remove old furniture where pre-arranged.
• Maintain communication with the Logistics and Customer Service teams.
• Follow company uniform and appearance standards.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections before starting deliveries.

Skills & Qualifications

• Full, clean Category C driving licence with all required CPC qualifications.
• Previous experience driving rigid trucks. Applicable to C Driver Category / Experience driving Box Vans for B Licence
• Good knowledge ofBelfast and surrounding county road networks.
• Previous home delivery experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team.
• Training will be provided for candidates.
