Dental Nurse

We have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Nurse to be part of our family run group of Practices and to join our team in Bangor working in a Denplan practice. As this is a Denplan practice, an enhanced hourly rate will be offered. The successful applicant will work 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:50am-5:20pm and 8:50am-4:20pm on Fridays. Qualified and Trainee Dental Nurses are welcome to apply.

Duties will include assisting the dentist, sterilising dental equipment, keeping the surgery clean and occasional reception duties. Promoting high standards of patient care at all times is vital.

Essential Criteria:

• Fully qualified dental nurse or be willing to complete a NEBDN Diploma in Dental Nursing
• Have completed a NEBDN Diploma in Dental Nursing
• Be flexible to meet the needs of the practice
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Trainee Dental Nurses MUST have obtained both Maths and English GCSE's (Grades A-C) or Essential Skills in Maths, English and ICT in order to be eligible for a place on the Clear Dental Academy Course. 

Desirable Criteria: 

• Registered with the General Dental Council
• Experience of IV/RA Sedation
