Dental Nurse

Job description:

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic dental nurse to join our practice with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the dentist during dental procedures by handing them instruments, materials, and medicaments.
• Preparing the dental surgery, setting up instrument trays, and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for the procedure. 
• Greeting patients with a smile making them feel at ease
• Provide excellent patient care, maintain cross infection control, equipment and materials
• Taking and developing dental x-rays
• Proven ability to prioritize and multitask within a fast-paced environment
• Time management, punctuality and flexibility
• Good communication and computer skills
• Health and safety
• Stock Control
• Sterilization of instruments and surgery
• Maintaining patient records and updating to computer systems while adhering to patient confidentiality policies
• Occasional reception duties will be required. Training will be provided.

Working Hours:

This a full time position with working hours between Monday- Friday.

Some flexibility may be required for occasional Saturday cover (9am-1pm)

Essential:

1+ year Dental Nursing experience

Must be authorized to work in Ireland.

Fluency in English and good team work is essential.
