The Medical Corps plays a vital role in safeguarding the health and operational readiness of Defence Forces personnel at home and overseas. It delivers a broad range of medical and dental services to support both physical and mental wellbeing. We are looking for skilled dentists to provide top-quality care in a dynamic and fulfilling environment.

Key Requirements

• Eligible to live and work in Ireland
• Under 50 years of age at application closing date
• Degree in Dental Surgery and registration with the Irish Dental Council
• Minimum 3 years’ postgraduate experience
• Meet required medical, fitness, and security standards

Key Duties

• Provide comprehensive dental care to military personnel.
• Conduct routine check-ups, cleanings as well as advanced dental procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers in the military.

Training & Placement

Successful candidates complete a six week military induction course within six months of commencement of their role.
