Deputy Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join Clear Dental as a full-time Deputy Practice Manager at our Antrim practice. This role is ideal for an existing Lead Dental Nurse looking to take the next step into management while remaining involved in clinical duties.

You will work closely with the Practice Manager and a dynamic team of General and Specialist Dentists to deliver outstanding patient care. You will support the day-to-day running of the practice while ensuring a high standard of service, performance, and compliance.

This is a hands-on role, and the successful candidate will be expected to support clinical activities alongside their management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Practice Manager in the day-to-day running of the practice
• Lead and motivate the team in the absence of the Practice Manager
• Support staff performance management and development
• Ensure a high level of patient service and overall experience
• Contribute to business performance and operational efficiency
• Assist with clinical duties as required to support the team and ensure smooth patient flow
• Maintain high standards of infection control and clinical cleanliness
• Ensure the practice complies with RQIA and BDA standards and policies
• Maintain clinical governance, company policies, and health & safety standards
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements

Essential Criteria

• Registration with General Dental Council (GDC)
• Diploma in Dental Nursing
• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role

Desirable Criteria

• ILM Qualification (Level 3 or Level 5)
