Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this post is to lead and provide operational management to staff of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics so as to provide high quality Nutrition and Dietetic services within Children’s Health Ireland and to support the Professional Lead in service planning and development for the new children’s hospital.

Essential Criteria:

Candidates for appointment must:

  • Be registered as a Dietitian by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU.

And

  • Have 5 years full time (or an aggregate of 5 years full time) post qualification dietetic experience (which must include experience in a paediatric setting).
  • Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability, management, leadership and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
