A panel will be created as a result of this campaign to fill Dietitian, Senior posts in UHK from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Details of Service:

University Hospital Kerry is the second largest of the HSE South West Hospitals. The hospital provides acute general hospital services to the hospital catchment area of County Kerry, North Cork and West Limerick.

Services include:

· Emergency Medicine

· Ear Nose and Throat Services

· General Medicine including medicine of the elderly & Endocrinology

· General Surgery

· Obstetrics & Gynaecology

· Orthopaedics

· Paediatrics including special baby care unit

· Psychiatry

· Renal Dialysis satellite unit

· Oncology

· Palliative Care

Purpose of Post:

To work and function as an efficient and effective Senior member of the Nutrition and Dietetic team and the relevant multidisciplinary teams in the areas of assignment, with the aim of providing optimum nutrition and dietetic care to clients under the care of the dietitian.
