Purpose of the Role

To work and function as an effective member of the Nutrition and Dietetic team and the assigned clinical team, with the aim of providing expert, evidence-based nutrition and dietetic care as well as playing a key role in the development, delivery, and evaluation of such care / pathways for paediatric patients in Children’s Health Ireland.

The successful candidate may be required to work across CHI sites and services in line with organisational requirements and the development of the new children’s hospital and associated services.

Essential Criteria:

Candidates must:

· Be registered as a Dietitian by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU.

· Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Dietitians Register maintained by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU

· Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
