Digger Driver

Job Overview:

With work recently started on our new site we have an amazing opportunity for the role of Digger Driver reporting to the Site Manager. As a successful candidate you will be responsible operating a 360 excavator, ideal candidate will need to hold relevant cards such as Roller, Dumper, Telehandler, Loading shovel etc.

Key Duties:

· Operating Digger safely

· Digging foundations and levelling ground

· Drainage installation and slinging pipes

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Any other duties deemed necessary by management.

Essential Criteria:

· 10+ years plus experience

· Track machine experience

· Valid Digger Ticket

· Valid CRS

· Pipe Laying experience

· Ground Works experience

· Foundation experience

· Knowledge of general construction operations

· Must be willing to work as a groundworker when plant is not in use

· Ability to work unsupervised, individually and as part of a team

· Good time management skills

· Great work ethic and attitude

· Competent & Careful

· Excellent Communication

· Full Driving Licence and access to own transport

Desirable Criteria:

· Dozer experience

Duration: Full Time Permanent

Location: Newry

Remuneration: Attractive

Hours of work: 8am to 5pm
