Digital Marketing Coordinator

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a purpose-driven brand and make a meaningful impact. Reporting the Supporter Development Manager, and working closely with the Digital Fundraising Lead, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will deliver digital campaigns, grow online communities, and drive engagement through compelling content.

The ideal candidate will come from a Digital Marketing background and will be passionate, proactive and a great communicator.

Role & Responsibilities:

Campaign Delivery & Reporting

  • Deliver digital marketing campaigns, aligned with Pieta’s brand tone and goals, including but not limited to: Meta ads, Google ads, and SERP & SEO campaigns.

  • Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance and KPIs, and work with the Digital Fundraising Lead to optimise campaigns

  • Work with the wider team on digital campaign budgets and report on key metrics

  • Ensure all campaigns are GDPR-compliant

Email Marketing

  • Deliver large-scale email campaigns using automated journeys and audiences from our CRM

  • Collaborate across departments to build campaign-specific audiences and messaging

  • Track campaign analytics and generate performance reports and work with wider team to optimise campaigns

Website Management

  • Maintain and update the main Pieta website and microsites

  • Monitor and analyse website engagement using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, UTM tracking and Google Search Console

  • Support backend management and technical updates in collaboration with an external development agency

Content & Community Development

  • Create engaging, on-brand content for web, email, social media, blogs, and video

  • Spot content opportunities and trends

  • Build, grow, and nurture online communities across platforms

Brand Stewardship

  • Act as a guardian of the Pieta brand and sub-brands, ensuring quality and consistency

  • Support broader digital initiatives where required

Partner & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work with internal teams, external agencies, suppliers, and fundraising partners to create excellent digital experiences

  • Build strong relationships across the organisation to support campaign development

Essential Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing agency, non-profit or fast-paced corporate environment

  • Knowledge of the fundraising landscape

  • Strong writing and editing skills with experience in setting tone of voice, storytelling, grammar and proofreading

  • Proven experience managing email campaigns, digital content, and social media

  • Familiarity with digital tools such as CRM systems, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, mass email management systems and website CMS platforms

  • Strong IT skills, especially MS Office Suite

  • Excellent time management, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines

Desirable

  • Experience with Google Ads, SEO, Google Search Console, and backend website management

  • Working knowledge of GDPR compliance

  • Understanding of Web Accessibility principles

  • Experience setting up A/B/N tests in digital platforms

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent
