Where Ambition Meets Nutrition – About the Glanbia Digital+ Team

The Glanbia Digital+ team act as an internal agency offering a range of digital, technical and creative services to optimise Glanbia’s digital presence. Our team is made up of Digital Strategists, Digital Marketers, Social Media Experts, Designers, Videographers, UX Experts, and Technical Analysts, who work together in an agile and very collaborative environment. This is a relatively new team with lots of exciting projects ongoing and upcoming, so if you’re hungry to learn and willing to push yourself to achieve results for your team then you’ll love this role.

  • The Digital+ team are built to drive growth for Glanbia, we work with the brand teams to support them on Digital & creative strategy
  • Creative concept and strategic direction are at the core of what we do, we put emphasis on finding the right concept to help direct every project to success
  • Our media buyers develop digital media strategies to hit brand objectives and work closely with the Creative team to ensure that we have the right content for each platform
  • We build, manage and maintain large and small scale websites across the group from ecommerce to brochure ware
  • Our team of dedicated Account Managers develop strong relationships with the brand teams and manage each project from brief to completion
  • This flexible, empowered team weave together Enterprise Design Thinking, Lean, UX and Agile methodologies

Glanbia is offering excellent internship opportunities for those interested in a career in Digital Media.

As an Intern, you will have responsibility for / work in one of the following areas;

  • Maintaining and managing content on our website(s), carrying out scheduled/regular content updates by agreed deadlines
  • Responsible for the timely delivery of all tasks associated with Glanbia’s brands and websites
  • Interest or experience and an understanding of website platforms (WordPress, etc.) and content management systems
  • Application maintenance and bug fixes, triage incidents as appropriate
  • Inputting into technical projects and management, helping the project to meet deadlines
  • Implement change requests, investigate issues and provide effective resolutions
  • Drive collaboration and builds partnerships to meet project and task objectives
  • Creative and problem solving skills
  • Assisting in testing, new page and product functionality, troubleshooting solutions or assigning issues to relevant teams as required
  • A can do attitude that always finds a better way or solution

  • High academic record to date in Business Information Systems, Computing based, Multimedia, Digital / Creative Media or a related field,
  • Record of high achievement and delivery
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Proven self-starter with the drive and desire to succeed
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

Essential criteria

To apply, students must:

  • Be available for the full duration of the Summer Internship
  • Be willing attend the office based in Kilkenny and adhere to our hybrid working model
