The current vacancy available is permanent and whole-time in University Hospital Limerick.

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Director of Nursing 1, Assistant Innovation and Magnet Recognition, HSE Mid-West Acute Services from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Purpose of the Post

The Director of Nursing 1 (Assistant) Innovation and Magnet Recognition serves as part of the Senior Nurse Management Team and will operate within the wider hospital management team. The Director of Nursing 1 (Assistant) Innovation and Magnet Recognition will be responsible for;

Development and progression of Pathway to Excellence, Transition to Practice and Magnet Designation.

Delivery Quality Improvement & Research agendas to ensure the highest standards of patient focused care across all hospitals.

Development and implementation of developmental pathways, mentorship programs, career progression and post graduate education framework.

Will have operational portfolio as assigned by Director of Nursing
