Location of Post

There is currently 1 permanent / whole-time vacancy available in Addiction Services, CHO7 Helpline Bridge House

The post is based at Cherry Orchard Hospital, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10 but where a suitable working environment is available closer to home or at home, remote working for part of the working week can be discussed. Staff are asked to attend in person for training and other staff events.

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Dublin and Midlands Region from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Details of Service

There are two National Helplines: The HSE Drugs and Alcohol Helpline and the HSE HIV and Sexual Health Helpline. Both Helplines are access on a Freephone number or by email and are staffed by the same team of Helpline counsellors. The Helpline provides support, information, guidance and referral to anyone with a question or concern related to drug / alcohol use and/or HIV and Sexual Health. It is free, confidential, non-judgmental and non directive. The Helpline is currently open Mon-Fri 9.30am-5.30pm. There is a small team of Helpline Counsellors and a Helpline Manager and the service sits within the HSE Addiction Services.
