The Regional Director of Integrated Care will play a pivotal strategic role in driving alignment and integration across acute hospital services. This position encompasses leadership in Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC), Scheduled Care (SC), and Integrated Pathways, including maternity, surgical, and other specialty networks. The role is responsible for coordinating and strategic planning of clinical care delivery across all hospitals and aligning services within the IHAs to create a unified operational framework. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping and implementing strategic initiatives that enhance system-wide collaboration, improve patient flow, and ensure consistency in service delivery across the region.
The post holder will establish this function taking account of the Clinical Care Programmes, Networks of Care and multidisciplinary approaches to service delivery as they are further developed and evolve through engagement with the Regional Clinical Executive Team.

Eligibility Criteria - Qualifications and/ or experience
Applicants must demonstrate all of the criteria listed below:
- Experience of working in a senior management role in health care or other care area relevant to the role. This should include significant operational and financial/ budgetary experience in the delivery of complex services in large organisations.
- Have a significant track record of achievement as a leader and senior manager in a large complex organisation.
- Successful track record of planning and delivering organisational change in a complex environment involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience of managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external Health service stakeholders, as relevant to this role.
- Significant experience of working with the clinical directorate governance model
- The requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
