The line manager is open to engagement in respect of flexibility around location in one of the HSE Dublin & Midlands Corporate Offices but the post holder must be agreeable to one day each week on site at Bridgewater Business Centre, Islandbridge, Dublin 8.

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for CNM2– Digital Health from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled. The successful candidate will be required to take up duty within 3 months of receipt of the formal offer of employment

Eligibility criteria

Qualifications and/ or experience

Candidates must have at the latest date of application:

This campaign is confined to staff who are currently employed by the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies*, or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 of the Health Act 2004 as per Workplace Relations Commission agreement -161867

Minimum criteria

I. Be registered in a Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by An Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) or be entitled to be so registered

And

Have at least 5 years post registration experience of which 2 years must be in nursing management at a minimum of CNM/CMM1 level.

And

Demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.

And

Possess the requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of suitability and clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.

Annual Registration

Please note that appointment to and continuation in posts that require statutory registration is dependent upon the post holder maintaining annual registration in the relevant division of the register maintained by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann).

And

Practitioners must confirm annual registration with NMBI to the HSE by way of the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC).

Health

A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.

Character

Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character.

Post Specific Requirements

  • Demonstrate depth and breadth of nursing or midwifery leadership experience at a management level
  • Experience/involvement in the implementation of clinical information systems, or other common health care clinical applications
  • Demonstrate your depth and breadth of Project management experience

Applicants must, at the latest date of application, clearly demonstrate, all of the criteria listed below as relevant to the role:

  • Depth and breadth of experience in digital projects and systems
  • Proven clinical, leadership, and administrative knowledge, skills, and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
  • Experience in the area of digital health
  • Experience in the area of change management
  • Proactive management style and the ability to take initiative and responsibility
  • Well-developed organisational skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities to meet deadlines
  • Resilient and flexible approach to work
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and driven to improve care using process design and technology
  • Experience in professional writing and the preparation of documents to include collating large volumes of data and producing summary reports as relevant to the role.
