Dublin South Central Mental Health Services

The Dublin South Central Mental Health Service in Tallaght employs a community-based approach through specialised Multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Teams, including General Adult, Psychiatry of Later Life, Community Rehabilitation, and Mental Health Intellectual Disability (MHID) teams.

Services offered include Home-Based Treatment, Assertive Outreach, Outpatient Clinics, Day Hospital and Centre services, as well as various residential care options. Acute admissions are handled at Tallaght University Hospital, which has a 52-bed unit across three wards: Rowan, Cedar, and Aspen.
