Details of Service

Under the Progressing Disability Services for Children and Young People Programme, Children’s Disability Network Teams are reconfigured so that all children with a disability and developmental delay and their families will have access to services according to their needs and there will be consistency and equity in delivery of services across the country.

The Children’s Disability Network Teams are charged with the delivery of an efficient and effective health and social care service for a designated population in order to achieve targeted health outcomes within the overall Community Health Area.

There are 10 HSE CDNTs across HSE Dublin and Midlands. This post will serve to support occupational therapy clinical governance and supervision across the 10 teams in association with the Line Manager (Children’s Disability Network Manager)

Reporting Relationship

The HSE Interim Occupational Therapist Manager (CDNT) will report to the appropriate manager in line with the future state Integrated Service Directorate model, which is currently being designed and finalised.
