A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Dublin Midlands from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Details of service

Linn Dara Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) the HSE CAMHS service for children and adolescents aged up-to the age of 18 years of age across Dublin- South City, West ,South West and Kildare West Wicklow, who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties. The service is delivered in line with the CAMHS Clinical Operational Guidelines 3rd edition 2025.

Linn Dara CAMHS service currently has:

  • 8 Community Mental Health CAMHS Teams
  • Community Eating Disorder Service
  • ADMiRE – ADHD Pathway
  • Linn Dara Approved Centre
  • Consultation & Liaison Psychiatry at National Children’s Hospital, Tallaght
  • Mental Health of Intellectual Disability Services (2 MHID Teams)
  • In addition to access to therapeutic pathways such as DBT and Family Therapy

The service has strong academic links with Trinity College Dublin. Linn Dara has its own dedicated management structures, with leads for all the disciplines within the service. Together with dedicated managerial and administrative resources this supports the ongoing planning development of the service. There is a particular emphasis on workforce planning, training and service.

In our 2024 staff survey, employees in Linn Dara CAMHS reported a high satisfaction rate with regards to; learning new skills (93.6%); working well as a team (92.3%); accesses to training (80.7%); and excellent line management support (82.6%). Our qualitative analysis of the survey also revealed the Linn Dara teams highly rate working with families and young people attending our services, and “feel proud to be part of their healing journey”.
