Location of post

There is one permanent, whole‑time vacancy within the Midlands IHA, comprising the counties of Laois, Offaly, Longford, and Westmeath. The appointed post‑holder will be responsible for the delivery of social work services to the population of the Midlands IHA across these counties.

The Integrated Service Lead is open to considering the preferred base location for the post within the Midlands IHA.

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Dublin and Midlands from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Details of service

Adult Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) receive referrals from GPs for people who require a secondary mental health service for moderate to severe mental health difficulties. Rehab and Recovery teams receive referrals from CMHTs for people with a diagnosis of an enduring mental illness who require extra support.
