EZ Living Furniture was founded in Galway in 1998. We are a family run Irish retailer operating nationwide, as well as a full online shopping experience offering delivery throughout Ireland. We are the largest independent Furniture Retailer in Ireland employing almost 370 people.

Furniture Delivery & Installer (Category C Licence)

• Full Category C driving licence / Category B driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Ability to unload and deliver furniture safely.
• Experience or skills to assemble furniture in customers' homes.
• This is a fixed term role for 3 months

The Person

We are looking for an experienced Category C Driver / Category B Driver with a strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will provide an efficient home delivery service, ensuring furniture is delivered, assembled, and installed to a high standard in customers' homes.

The role is based in Derry/Londonderry and covers surrounding counties. Full training will be provided for the right candidate who demonstrates motivation, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience on every delivery.
• Review delivery orders before departure.
• Safely unload furniture at customers' homes.
• Assemble furniture to the required standard.
• Remove old furniture where pre-arranged.
• Maintain communication with the Logistics and Customer Service teams.
• Follow company uniform and appearance standards.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections before starting deliveries.

Skills & Qualifications

• Full, clean Category C driving licence with all required CPC qualifications. 
• Previous experience driving rigid trucks.
• Good knowledge ofDerry/Londonderry and surrounding county road networks.
• Previous home delivery experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team.
• Training will be provided for candidates.
