We are currently seeking highly motivated Driver/Maintenance Personto join our team in Galway. Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract 25hrs per week

Salary Scale: FSW pay scale €33,001 (16.27 per hour) - €36,691 (18.00 per hour) 7points pro rata

Overview of the Post:

To transport children in Galway City & County in order to enable them to participate in the community activities.

The successful candidate will have

Essential Criteria:

· Clean D1 Driving License with a minimum of 5 years’ driving experience

· Basic IT skills

· Effective communication skills and good recording practices

· Health & Safety awareness

· Knowledge of road safety and highway code

· Familiar with RSA guidelines

· Positive attitude to people with disabilities and their families

Desirable Criteria:

· Experience in driving adapted passenger vehicles

· Experience working with children with disabilities

· Experience in clamping wheelchairs

· Holder of up-to-date CPC driver card setting

· Ability to work as part of a team

· Flexibility in approach to work

· Availability for additional hours when required
